2016
In 2016 the interns learned more about how to bring their knowledge and passion into the community with a PSA's 101 talk with Lynda Ferguson; talking to the organizers of The Fargo Project: World Garden at Rabanus Park; and by gardening with Growing Together community gardens. They also expanded their scientific knowledge with a Pollinators and Plants talk with Meghan Bennett. Interns also hosted a Bee Friendly Fargo Panel at the Plains to connect with community leaders after learning about the Bee Friendly City advocacy campaign. They also had fun and learned a lot from a Breakfast by Bees talk with Andrea Baumgardener, a plant pigment watercolor session, and Garden Stories panel discussion. At the end of the June session, interns hosted a Rally for the Bees in the gardens outside the Plains.
